On the Beach

A better day here, more sunshine, but still the wind persists.

On my walk this morning we went via the promenade and besides putting up a wall at the edge of the walkway, they are now putting hardcore on a stretch of the beach.

Over recent years the wind and sea in the winter time has taken the sand away and breached the walkway, so I think they are trying to build it back up.   Someone told me that the Marina in Adra (just down the coast) is being dredged and they are bringing that here to spread on the beach.   Watch this space.

According to our Yachting friends, when they build the Marina here, the entrance was build to open the wrong way, and the breakwaters they have put in have contributed to the erosion.

You can't beat nature!
