Chester highlights

Brief visit to Chester. Couldn't decide on which of the various shots taken today should feature as my blip, so here is a mini montage of some of them. The flower was captured in the upstairs part of Pret a Manger whilst partaking of breakfast. Pret is in one of the beautiful shops on The Rows, Chester's rightly famous city streets. The other two were taken in our son's house which is in the cathedral quarter. The robin was also enjoying his breakfast and the architectural detail is just sitting there in a rockery. Whether this is a fragment from the Benedictine abbey that used to stand close by I couldn't say, but we don't think it comes from the cathedral which is a mere hop skip and jump away. Lovely day with family in glorious weather.
