If at first you don't succeed.........

      I bought Finn a little second hand pushbike yesterday. He had a balance bike a little while back and was doing great on that until the handle bar broke. I left it too long before getting him something new but until now it hasn't been the weather. We are also trying to skip the stabiliser stage.
      Finn (like me) is a little 'hot-headed' even more so in the hot weather (which he doesn't like) on top of learning a new skill...........
      This moment was accompanied by wails of 'I just CAN'T do it Mum' as he stomped off and plonked himself down in a sulk. He did have a few more goes after this on the promise of an ice cream and if I promised not to let go ;-) Which of course I did! .......he's almost there......back to the lesson tomorrow.
