A Police Escort For BVFL33

Today I had an appointment in Appley Bridge with an Orthopaedic Surgeon. On arrival at the station a taxi was waiting for me . Later whilst in the hospital the news that there had been a traffic pile up by the hospital gates was doing the rounds . No taxi could get through to me so I set off to walk , all be it slowly . Now it is a fact that my sense of direction is almost zero so I asked the police whether I should go left or right . These knights in dark armour said not to worry they would take me to the station . Once  over the road ,I was invited  to sit in the car you see and then driven to the railway station .Now I have some idea as to how HM feels. These guys  made the perfect end to my day .....
