A sunbathing Peacock butterfly.

I haven't seen one of these for a number of years but this one visited my front garden this afternoon. Instead of settling on a Blipperable flower (ever conscious of Flower Friday) or even a leaf it chose to sunbathe on the cover of my trailer tent. 

Every time I tried to get close it flew up but came back to the warm spot. After a while it got bored being photographed and went on its way. 

I had been doing some woodwork in preparation of laying a shed base. My hands where shaking like mad so I'm surprised this came out as it did.
