First time with a paintbrush

I'm so proud of my husband T today!  He's watched me paint, and watched me paint with the grandchildren and others but he's never done a painting himself before - well not since primary school. We did the same thing I've done with the grandchildren and painted the same painting side by side. Sort of monkey see monkey do. We're doing a Venice canal scene. The first day went really well, and we didn't argue once! I think he's going to do well.

Apart from that we've carried on with the carpet cleaning and decided that our bedroom carpet is really really on its last legs and desperately needs replacing.
