Village School - 1950s

There's to be an Exhibition of artefacts from the Old Village School.....dating from the 1950s

When we arrived in Spain, the School Leaving Age was 14 years......have no idea what the Leaving Age was in 1950s....

Should be an interesting Exhibition......the old School Building is still in use....for Community events but not as a School.

....the one Village School has been replaced by an Infants,
a Primary and a Secondary School......

Today, more than half the pupils are foreigners, and Valenciano and English Language are compulsory subjects.
