West Wales Journey

We had a day out today to Pwllheli to visit friends. Car to Machynlleth and then train all the way up the coast. It's a spectacular journey; a bit hazy today and very cold on the beach at Pwllheli. Our sailing friend estimated the wind at force 5, rising to 6, gusting 7 as we left for warmth and coffee! Still, honour was satisfied and the children got to paddle and play in the sand for a short while. The picture is of Portmeirion from the train.
