I've waited years for this!

John's 18th birthday today and he insisted on coming to the pub to buy me a pint. I reluctantly agreed.

In all seriousness we've joked for years that he would have to buy me a pint in the Pinner Arms on his 18th birthday.

Just wondering whether it's going to turn in to a regular thing.
