It's official!

My JOGLE medal and final postcard arrived today as confirmation of my passing the finish line.

It was a lovely warm day today so I plodded out a few miles lunchtime in order to speed myself along my next trek from Canterbury to Rome. And I bought some swish new walking trainers to keep my feet happy en route.

It was extra deserted at work today with many students still off campus and staff enjoying an Easter break. It has been so nice to have good holiday weather for once so that everyone has been able to make the most of the break. The travel news on my way home did not sound so great - the mass return from hols must have kicked in.

Leo gets to make the best of his last weekend of freedom as it is back to a School for him on Monday. He declared he had a great time off School - with his Dad. Apparently I made him go to the library too many times on my week off with him so I didn't do as well - cheeky monkey!
