Construction

There was a theme to today. It started off early with a trip to the garage to get a headlamp bulb changed. It blew at the end of October and was replaced, but needed to be done again. What is depressing is the construction of the vehicle which requires the front bumper to be removed. Nearly £50! Shame as the car has otherwise been great.

Then across the city on a bus to the office for a meeting of parliamentary representatives from Western Australia who are looking at how we support children in Scotland to inform how they progress their systems filling some historical sexual abuse cases. Some very interesting discussions on the role of independent commissioners and how we are seeking here to transform how services better support children.

Then back across the city to collect the repaired vehicle after constructing some policy approaches.
