Acheron Homestead
We spent some time in North Canterbury and South Marlborough today, and visited historic Acheron Homestead, built of cob in 1862.
It is situated at the junction of the Acheron and Clarence Rivers, within Molesworth Station. Molesworth is one of New Zealand's most famous High Country sheep and beef stations. It is now managed by the Department of Conservation.
