April in Yorkshire

We've had a beautiful day today. It was bright and sunny with a slight haze. Went for a long walk near the Ribblehead viaduct where we spotted our first tortoiseshell butterfly of the year. There are lambs everywhere , in 1's , twins and triplets.
On the way back over the moors saw several grouse and a number of lapwings as well.
