School holidays does that.

On this occasion it's about LittleMissDuo exploring the zoo with the attention span of a fish. It's difficult to know how they have developed their social skills & where the bad habits have come from but the process of helping them learn & develop is going to be arduous when much of their time is spent in an environment that isn't conducive. If the people around them aren't interested in sharing knowledge & information (social norms aside) in a positive way it makes exercises like this less interesting. Beyond Madagascar they're animal knowledge is scant.

Oh how I wished they had an interest in being interested or at the very least could at least pretend. Much work to be done before embarking on anything further from home. Back to the holiday dream book & hopefully story books to inspire. Maybe Sir Attenborough can help?
