I see no sea

Took a late afternoon ride on the Triumph and ended up in Weston-super -Mare.

That is a mirage, the sea is somewhere over the horizon!

You can just make out the two piers. The Grand Pier on the right, which has recently been rebuilt, burnt down and rebuilt again and the Birnbeck Pier, which is sadly derelict and decaying - the only pier in the country (England?) which links the mainland to an island (Birnbeck Island).

Sadly, though not for the donkeys, there were no rides today.
