A break in the weather.

As predicted a big change today. More typical April showers including hail and although there has been lots of sun it has come with a very cool wind.

All those flowers luxuriating in the sun yesterday are reeling from shock including this well timed Pasqueflower.

It has been flowering all week and I have taken a few shots of it as it opened in the sun but I liked it closed this morning, showing the hairy outer side of the petals and dotted with rain drops.
I've been sitting in the conservatory, you can pretend it is still warm in there!
