Lighten up!

Hello Blippers! Hope you are well! :)

Today was our crime & safety day at school. Unfortunately, my best friend wasn't there, but it was still fun.

We went round some classrooms, with different things in each room. For example, one room was all about prison & prison officers, one was Medics Against Violence, one was the British Transport Police, etc.

Before lunch, we were marched outside and forced to walk around in a massive circle, much to the amusement of pupils and teachers watching from inside. I felt quite embarrassed, because I was aware of people looking and laughing at us.

Later on in the day, I went swimming with my dad, my little brother and his friend. Even though I felt very self-conscious
(who doesn't?) I eventually forgot about it, and had fun. When I first went in, I was really nervous, and my dad told me to 'lighten up' (hence the name of the photo).
