Crazy day of sport

After what seemed ages I was back at Afc Fylde on the microphone today.

It really is "squeaky bum time" at the top of the league. A win for us and a Barrow defeat would put us back on top with 3 games to play.

With 15 seconds to go we were 2-1 up and Barrow were 1-0 down.

We conceded a penalty and then from the resultant kick off we nearly scored.
Final score 2-2 so Barrow remain top. We go again Monday.

In The Grand National I got 3 random horses in the sweepstake. One of them came in second so that softened the blow of the draw.

To the final event of the day, The Boat Race.
Previously I simply watched with admiration for the power and athleticism of both crews.

That changed when Adam applied for Oxford.

Since nailing my colours firmly to the Dark Blues it's 2 wins out of 2.
Today's blip is from the TV. There is no doubt I will have to go and watch it from the river before too long.
