First signs of spring

Today has been another glorious day and a lovely day for a walk.  We headed to the local WIldgrounds in Gosport and the first signs of the bluebells have begun to peep through.  The walk was the peace and quiet we both needed and it was a joy listening to the birds and rustling of the trees.

Other than that today has been filled with chores and watching the Grand National.  No winners today but it was interesting to watch, although I am somewhat torn between the actual event and all of its splendour and the poor horses that have to endure such a race.
