Fighting over the ball in Melrose.
I got up early this morning and the sun was out so I decided to head to Melrose to watch the annual Sevens tournament. The sun might have been out but we also had sleet and hail and it was perishing! I lasted about three hours then headed home to watch the rest on the telly.
This shot is from the Selkirk v Currie game just as the Currie defence brought down the Selkirk lad who was so close to scoring a try. The look on the faces say it all.
Tomorrow I am on a mission to fix or replace my cat flap. Last night there was an almighty stramash at the back door, not sure who was involved but the cat flap rattled loudly then started bleeping. The light came on to say the back up battery was low. It was still plugged in to the mains so I can't understand why, but it just stopped working.
I taped it open until I was able to fit a new battery tonight but it still doesn't work. This means that any cat can come in at the moment. I will have a good look tomorrow but it may need replaced after five and a half years. The only good news is that this model is now £45 cheaper than it was in 2009.
