Ethereal blossom

I've kind of missed it's best - but Louie Robin got in the way ;)  This is cherry blossom - an ornamental cherry - but totally stunning and the bees LOVE IT!  So that's alright with me!

Great glorious day of baking and gardening!  Just wished it has been less windy and warmer!

Louie was so busy singing, worms and photographs just weren't 'his thing' today... he's so different from Larry - his dad - who was possibly the vainest of all birds, apart from Elgar Blackbird of course... ahem!  So sadly missed... I think of him often, but he has many, many children keeping his bloodline alive.

RIP to a beautiful creature, a horse called 'Seedling' who was destroyed before the infamous Grand National this morning having injured himself before the meet... BAN IT!  DON'T BACK THE CRUELTY
