On the nest!!!!

We ventured down to England for our club walk today, and walked along the River Tweed in part, crossing into England and Scotland at times.  The weather was lovely, although a strong wind kept it from being warm, and we had a slight fall of rain at one point.  It was a very scenic walk with lots of interest, and we all enjoyed seeing the swan on its nest, and did our best to be quiet so as not to disturb it unduly.  We walked almost eleven miles, a bit more than we usually do.

Had a social hour in Berwick upon Tweed after the walk, before our drive home.
