Great Haseley Windmill

A family day today.  Mr QT took Adam to his football match first thing, and he was awarded Man of the Match!  This afternoon we set off for Thame for a naming ceremony and first birthday party.  It was great to catch up with Mr QT's family, as we don't get to see that much of them. 

On the way home we stopped off in Warborough for a pub tea.  We arrived before they started serving food, so we went for a walk around the village, and the 12th century church, St Laurence's.  Such a pretty, peaceful place. 

The windmill is just outside Little Milton, and commands a fine view over the Oxfordshire countryside.  It has been restored in recent years, and it has been interesting watching its progress from ruin to current splendid glory.
