Cricket kit

Cricket kit. One of today's much needed jobs was to start sorting out the cricket stores. Missey was 'helping me' which mainly consisted of sunbathing and being a bit of a tart trying to get a stroke from anyone who walked past. I ended up completely knackered and all hot and sweaty and needed a rest. I only managed to sort through and bag up a fraction of the stores but the stuff that is needed straight away is ready.
My son went to London for the day (5:15 am start! ) to go to a careers with maths and physics seminar. He came back from it tired but really quite enthusiastic about how interesting and useful it had been. For a 17 year old lad who often only grunts at me if I'm lucky he was chatty. Sure he will be back to his usual grunty self soon....
