Fishing

Spent the day fishing.....for ideas of what to do this weekend. For some reason I thought life would come to me but have now realized that sometimes you just need to grab yourself by the scruff of the neck and give yourself a good shake.

I watched the Aintree Grand National today and marveled at the bravery of both the jockeys and horses. Didn't bother with a bet and was glad as I had intended putting a wager o Nina Carbury and A.P. McCoy....Neither were placed.

Now planning a trip to Dunany in Co. Louth for some hunter trials tomorrow if the weather is condusive to hanging around for a few hours. Not many weeks left of these trials and will be sorry if I don't get to a few of them.

Planning my first picnic of the year for this week in Annacurragh so hoping the weather keeps fine for us.... Still there's worse things to do than sit in the car watching rain with some good music and tasty tidbits... Some tasty bits for me anyhow and rabbit for for "she who continually diets".....just saying
