Bead making

Bead making. I went with a friend to a lampwork festival, with beads and glass artwork of every sort and in every feasible colour. Included in the ticket price were expert master classes to watch and have a go yourself. We did and my first bead came out well and my pattern was very evenly spaced. My second attempt went hideously wrong and cracked. By third attempt was a pair of supposedly matching ones to make into earrings, but they are not very matching. I spent ages trying to get them even when I should have cut my losses and started again. You had to have your arms at a funny unnatural height and angle which killed my shoulder and searing pain was the main reason for stopping and not making anymore. I think I will leave the making to experts and buy them ready made for me to make into jewellery.
