Fakey hang-five

The Honolua Taranaki Festival of Longboarding is being held this weekend. Today's weather was a bit unsettled with cross-shore WSW winds of 35kts (40mph) and heavy showers of rain... not ideal for a surfing competition.

This goofy footed competitor, sporting a white rashie for his first heat, pulled off a cross-step walk to the nose of his longboard and almost got a "hang-five" (five of his toes overhanging the end of the surfboard).
