Happy Faces

A slightly better day at work today, thank goodness.

In the evening, Annie went to a governor's meeting and on to a spot check on the school's residential provision. It's important to check that the children in our care are safe, well and happy. The boarders were having a jubilee party out in the sun while we were there, and we joined them for a chat and a slice of cake. It's good to see them happy.

Chris visited Rosie's school tonight for open evening. Rosie was playing viola in the school ensemble. Rosie is in her final term at junior school so this is the end of an era, both girls having been through the same junior school.
