Pick me.....?

Despite the sudden return of Winter and the cancellation of most of our weekend gardening plans we still had a couple tricks up our sleeve.

A nice little trip over to Bonnyrigg allowed us to collect some strawberry plants, kindly donated by a friend who had a surplus. A quick look around her garden inspired me even more and I think I've found a use for an old CD collection.

Although we haven't had chance to build our coop yet we popped in to a chicken breeder nearby to see what they had. Sadly no bantams but it was fun to start seeing what's about.
