Memory Lane.......

LOTS of thoughts today as I travelled this route to meet with my Elmwood friends for a special lunch. It took me near old haunts and brought back many memories. I didn't have the car but despite the rain throwing down as I left home, the bus and tram are a very reliable alternative, and the sun came out pretty soon. 

A very happy, l o n g lunch with lots of catching up. I am the only one who has a 'day job' now, but everyone else is kept busy in other very good and productive ways...(if that is the word to use? Do we have to always be productive...???)

Home in time to watch the boat race....Cambridge rowed well and WILL take the trophy again!

The skirting is finally finished and the workman has returned...tired but happy. An extremely busy day in Sawston, Cambs, as The Stables, rented, was finally vacated for the new owner home. Tomorrow they will visit IKEA for a few bits and pieces. ...
