Wood Pecker

As the sun is shinning again today I thought I would sit in the garden with my book, and camera at my side ready for an opportunity to get good bird blip for today.
I have been trying to get this wood pecker for a while now but I have never been quick enough. but luck was on my side today at last I managed to get this shot before he flew away in to the distant
