Week 15

Forsythia (week 8) still in full flower, but was a little late this year, five weeks of beautiful bright golden flowers. Pieris and Caltha palustris (week16) so about on target. The Caltha (Marsh Marigold) is now in its Third week of flowering. The Pieris shows how the wrong location can spoil a shrub. It's planted in a very dry soil in full sun. So the foliage is yellowed and they are flowering themselves to death. Planted 18 months ago I'll give them perhaps another 2 years.
