The treasure hunters

Another sunny day.   We went for a short circular walk round Charlwood this morning and then popped along to our friend, Scott's, house.  He has some local history people on his land today with their metal detectors.    They were finding all manner of items.    A few years back they had found a gold coin so Scott invited them back to see if they would unearth anything else of interest.       
I have come away with 2 small belt buckles - one chap said they are medieval another says they are 17th Century.    A tiny lead seal and a book clasp.    They all need cleaning up to see the detail.

Of course I've fiddle faddled about with this image.   It was so bright out there that the original shots don't look too good.
