Edinburgh Castle - from a distance

My trusty Ixus Point and Shoot camera is showing it's age. The LCD screen is not well. Looks like there is a total eclipse of the sun in every shot.

So I purchased a replacement whilst in the US... another Canon.
Looks to be a fantastic little camera. Lots of manual features (which I've never had on a small compact camera), and a quite impressive 20x optical zoom.
This shot is it's first outing.
A walk along the Crags. Not sure how far they are away from the castle. But must be a good 3 miles/5km. I had to zoom out in order to get the whole castle in.
