If I were to choose my top 5 places in the world (albeit I haven't seen the WHOLE world yet!!) - this place would be in it (closely followed by Gruinard Bay in Wester Ross).

The Weegies have spent many holidays here - and loved every minute.

We would love to own one of the old fisherman's cottages on the top of the cliff, but could never afford one.  As a close second, we decided to have a look at some static caravans in nearby Coldingham.

Perhaps the owner shouldn't have shown us the £44,000 new ones first - as our budget was much lower.  There was nothing available in our price range at the moment but we enjoyed peering in at the ones on offer.

Site fees are higher than we thought, and Mr S and I are undecided if this is a good move.  Perhaps we should be spending our cash on the big girls' university living costs?  We are completely undecided.  

For the time being, there's nothing available and we will have to make do with day trips.
