Exciting day

Everything that happened today was overshadowed by the unexpected arrival of our new piano - about 6 weeks early. A phone call first thing and a long wait until it arrived about 8pm. In the meantime I busied myself with a walk along the river, a lovely client lunch in the city in the shadows of the wall of London, treasure hunts with the kids and a street party planning meeting.

All lovely but even more lovely was the kids finally being torn off the piano and sent to bed so I could spend a happy hour tinkling away.
