Jackdaw

Today's the day .......................... to hold the line

This is a soaking wet jackdaw.

He was seeking shelter from the lashing, typical Lake District-type rain that we woke up to this morning.  He found it underneath the eaves of the roof - where the telephone wire comes into the house.

He didn't stay long - but neither did the rain, I'm pleased to say ...............................
