Glasgow's crescents

You would be hard pressed to beat Edinburgh for its Victorian crescents. Indeed the walk from Haymarket Station up via St Mary's Episcopalian Cathedral is probably a world beater in terms of examples of Victorian crescents.

However, wee friendly Glasgow makes a good fist of some nice crescents itself, and there's none finer than those found around the Charing Cross heading to the west end area.

This one is just off Sauchiehall Street near Kelvingrove Museum.
