Square eyes

Had lots to do today and after another sleepless night with our little lady (will be glad when this cold of hers has finally shifted) strong coffee was needed this morning.

Poor Angus, after driving back from Edinburgh yesterday, he ended up doing a monster shift in the restaurant, getting back in at 3am, up again at 8am and back to work. Not sure the break will have benefited him after all!

Looking at the weather forecast, it looked like the morning was Squidge and I's best shot at some fresh air so we visited Longford Park and had a good run around, then back for lunch and a nap (for me).

This afternoon, there was nothing else for it but to fill the lounge with toys and pop the telly on ALL afternoon (square eyes guilt) so that I could do the housework. Mountains of washing and tidying later and I am just about straight for the week ahead. Just a small matter of 150 emails and being behind on a few work deadlines to attend to this evening!

Part of me is tempted not to bother and enjoy one more evening of relaxation.
There, decision made!
