From the Drom
I made a trip to Skibbereen to take some clean washing to Fionn and a few other things besides. Then it was a bit of a race against time to cook, get the grass cut while it was dry, collect Aedan from school early because he had some rugby trials in Kanturk, teach three students( =3 hours). Then Colm wanted to have a spin into town to watch Michelle's team playing a match ( gaelic football). So I left him there and went for a magic walk.
There's a drom that forms part of the coast of the bay and I've discovered a way up there that looks as if no one ever goes there except maybe a farmer tending his sheep. There are trees twisted by the wind into unbelievable shapes and there are birds and flowers and rabbits and at least one fox. This is a glimpse of the bay from the drom.
