The old oak

There is an oak tree at the end of our garden that must be 400 years old. the trunk is enormous. The land on which our houses are built used to be the grounds of an old manor house with  masses of acres of grounds.   The oaks from those grounds are dotted around the gardens or our much smaller houses and are now really  too big.   I am worried  some of the branches might fall on our and/ or  our neighbours' houses / sheds. It also makes a lot of mess with leaves and dead branches so less tree will be welcome .We last got it cut over 10 years ago. 

I have a quote from the tree surgeon for a serious trim.  This is record of the oak to record it in its glory before it gets a hair cut
