Leith Academy

This building has been converted to apartments now but it was originally Leith Academy Secondary School, where I completed my first teaching placement in 1970. I pass the building often on my way to Easter Road but have never thought to blip it. It is not the most outstanding piece of architecture but it is much grander than some of today's school buildings.
A great result and performance by Hibs this afternoon in beating Hearts 2-0. A derby win to be savoured.
