It wasn't to be

Took this photo just before kick off at Loftus Road at lunchtime today. It's taken me until now (9.45 in the evening) to get over the disappointment of losing to Chelsea from an 88th minute goal. I'm not saying we deserved to win but we certainly didn't deserve to lose. We got in Chelsea's faces from the kick off and they really didn't like it up 'em. They were intimidated and they were on the back foot throughout the game but in the end one mistake by Rob Green was exploited by Eden Hazard who set up a move which led to a goal from Fabregas. It was Chelsea's only shot on target in the whole game!!

If only we had shown a fraction of the spirit we showed today for the rest of the season, we'd be comfortably mid-table by now. Instead we're now looking more like a Championship side.

Despite the disappointment, there was only one side which left Loftus Road with their heads held high today, and that was QPR. Chelsea might be well on course for the Premier League title, but today they experienced what it was really like to support a team. The lack of class at Chelsea is summed up by their assistant coach Rui Faria celebrating in Chris Ramsay's face after they scored their goal. Doubt if that will get shown on Match of the Day. Disgusting behaviour.
