Stained Glass Window

I captured this shot of a beautiful stained glass window during today's visit to Chichester Cathedral with my Nanny. Isn't it mesmerising? I stood for at least 10 minutes, gazing up at the vibrant colours and religious engravings. We were celebrating Nanny's 71st birthday by soaking up the warmth of the sunshine, enjoying the sea breeze and indulging in British history. The last time I visited the cathedral, I was a young girl on holiday with my grandparents. Today was the first time we'd been back to Chichester since my Grampy passed away. It was wonderful to watch my Nan enjoying her adventures - her smile feels like home.
