From Luxton's Steps

There are a few boats kept below the cliffs on the beach at Luxton's Steps. I'd never thought there was much of an angle but today I slipped in behind them and took the shot looking out across the estuary to Archbrook. 

We went out to lunch with George and met Phoebe and the grands at the Old Rydon. We had a huge roast lunch there, enough for at least three families. Very good too.

There have been lots of emails and Facebook messages flying about regarding the Commitments performance last night (I hope you saw the Blip, it went on fairly late last night). It was part of a large musical extravaganza for friend and fellow musician, John (extreme right in the blip) who was celebrating a significant birthday and, fine man that he is, he organised a wonderful party and raised some significant money for the Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust.


It's been an enjoyable weekend.
