Holding Court

The weather was foul here today, made even worse for knowing (after Roam phoned from London) that it was beautiful down in the south of the country. It's been a bit of a damp squib of a weekend as far as doing things outside has been concerned, but I have at least caught up with lots of jobs inside. And it finished on a high note when I was invited around for dinner by a friend this evening. 

Life can't be too bad when you can enjoy the privilege of sharing a meal and good wine with five very bright and beautiful women. Their company was delightful and the conversation most stimulating. The food was also quite wonderful, especially the cheesecake. That will never be forgotten!
