~Crawdad trapping~

Today we went to Brent and Lacey's for Layla's  (8 yrs old) birthday BBQ. Everything bacon related.  It was a last minute idea and it turned out great.
Brent took a few of the boys down to the creek and set a trap to catch crawdads. I think it's gross but the do eat them. Below is a tiny bit of infer on them.....
Crayfish, also known as crawfishcrawdadsfreshwater lobsters, or mudbugs, are freshwater crustaceans resembling small lobsters, to which they are related; taxonomically, they are members of the superfamilies Astacoidea and Parastacoidea. They breathe through feather-like gills and are found in bodies of water. Some species are found in brooks and streams where there is fresh water running, while others thrive in swamps, ditches, and rice paddies. Most crayfish cannot tolerate polluted water.  Crayfish feed on living and dead animals and plants.
