Kids at the Beach

Two things that struck me about this photo were the group on the right, who are obviously under age, drinking and smoking while the two girls standing/running appear not to be much younger but are playing and the old sense of the word. The other is the fact that teenagers are outside sitting on the beach rather than sitting indoors playing computer games. Portobello Beach was full of similar aged kids that day.
