Mono Monday - Water

Two different birds woke me up this morning, the Blackbird at 5.30 and the Woodpecker at 7. Quite a nice natural way to be woken up for a change.

The fog is just lifting so I was hoping for a nice misty atmospheric shot of the reservoir but there was none there. This is yellow flag that is on the banks of the stilling pond and I think it looks quite good in mono.

Whilst I was down there I also saw a couple of squirrels jumping around the trees. I managed to snap this one and a Blackcap amongst the blossom. I also saw a rabbit but it was too fast for me to even turn the camera back on!
