Airports and golf courses

We take a tuk tuk to the airport just before 6am and get on our first flight to Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport.  On landing we notice there is a golf course between the runways and there are actually quite a few people playing despite the fact it is pouring with rain!  In this pic you can just see the yellow sandpit to the left of the green strip between runways ... bizarre. After a 3 hour wait we board our next flight and are taken to Phuket.

We check into our hotel and head off to meet the wedding party. The sun is shining here and there is a beautiful sunset which we just manage to catch as we arrive.  We end up having a late night drinking on the beach but its good to see old friends from home and also to meet new ones.
